Expanding Our Impact: Social Value International Welcomes Three New Team Members

At Social Value International (SVI), we are excited to announce the addition of three exceptional professionals to our growing team. These new members bring diverse expertise and fresh perspectives, enhancing our ability to drive positive change in how the world accounts for value. 

Jo Fackler: Elevating the Role of Social Value Practices Worldwide  

We welcome Jo as Director of Global Affairs. In this pivotal role, Jo will bring strategic leadership to our efforts to redefine how the world accounts for value.  

Key aspects of her role include: 

  • Spearheading the True & Fair project, enabling company directors to integrate sustainability directly into financial statements.

  • Overseeing strategic communications to shape the global narrative around impact management and social value.

  • Leveraging her extensive experience in impact management standards to drive global collaboration.

Jo's previous experience in managing the Impact Management Platform, where she coordinated efforts across 19 international organisations, positions her perfectly to advance key norms for managing impact on a global scale. 

Nazifa Shikdar: Enhancing Our Events and Marketing Initiatives 

Nazifa joins SVI as our Events and Marketing Coordinator. Working closely with our leadership team, she manages the coordination of our online events and implements our marketing strategy. Her role encompasses: 

  • Scheduling and logistics for online events Providing post-event support.

  • Overseeing social media presence.

  • Generating engaging content. 

  • Designing impactful marketing materials.

With a background in projects for organisations like UNHCR and Chelsea FC, as well as experience at Brunel University London specializing in AI applications and digital marketing, Nazifa brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. Her master's in international business and certifications in Management and Artificial Intelligence further equip her to drive innovation in our training and marketing efforts. 

Christian Narh: Strengthening Our Practitioner Community and SDG Impact Standards 

Christian joins us as our Assurance and Project Coordinator. His role is crucial in supporting and growing our network of practitioners while advancing the implementation of SDG Impact Standards. Christian's responsibilities include: 

  • Managing applications and renewals for the SVI Accredited Practitioner community. 

  • Enhancing the practitioner experience through feedback collection and resource provision.

  • Supporting the SDG Impact Standards Assurance process.

  • Collaborating on project planning, implementation, and research.

  • Contributing to the development of guides, reports, and case studies.

Christian's multifaceted role ensures that our practitioners have the support they need while also advancing our work on SDG Impact Standards.
