What information do we need about valuations?
Inform the design of Transparency Criteria for the creation and application of value factors
The Value Commission, a three-year collaborative project hosted by Capitals Coalition, has launched a public consultation to seek feedback on the draft Transparency Criteria for the creation and application of value factors worldwide.
‘Value factors’ refers to the numerical valuations created for non-financial impacts. The Transparency Criteria are a detailed set of standards that can be used to improve user confidence in the application of a value factor.

A Conceptual Framework for Impact Accounting
Give feedback on the first general methodology statement issued by IFVI
The International Foundation for Valuing Impacts (IFVI) in partnership with the Value Balancing Alliance (VBA) have issued an exposure draft as part of a new impact accounting system. In this public consultation they are seeking feedback on the general methodology statement that articulates the key purpose of impact accounting, defines key terms and concepts, and clarifies how impact accounting is connected to topics such as materiality assessments.
SVI will be providing responses and invite you all to shape our feedback.
